Elota Patton holds a B.A. in Speech and English from the University of Arkansas and an M.F.A. in Theater from the University of Texas. She spent 20 years working in theater, including serving as manager of Austin’s Zach Scott Theatre.

After earning an M.Ed. in Counseling from Texas State University, Elota became a Licensed Professional Counselor. While teaching Business Communication at the University of Texas, she also provided counseling and coaching services. Today, she continues to work with both counseling and business clients.

In addition, Elota is a professional editor and teaches Nia, a mind/body/spirit movement practice.
