Bastrop County Cares invites families to join the Care-A-Van Wellness and Educational Experience, a free community event designed to promote health, learning, and family engagement. This family-friendly event takes place on the third Thursday of each month at MLK Park in Smithville, Texas.
The Care-A-Van program provides a welcoming space for families to enjoy fun outdoor activities, literacy engagement, and opportunities to connect with community resources. Participants can also enjoy healthy snacks and take part in physical activity through the Care-A-Van mobile fitness program.
These events are designed to encourage positive youth development, support family well-being, and connect residents with valuable services available throughout Bastrop County.
