Bastrop County Cares invites families to attend the Care-A-Van Wellness and Educational Experience, a free monthly community event designed to promote family engagement, healthy activity, and access to community resources. This family-friendly event takes place on the first Tuesday of each month at Thomas Memorial Park in Elgin, Texas.
The Care-A-Van event offers a variety of fun outdoor activities for children and families, along with literacy activities, access to community resources, healthy snacks, and opportunities to stay active through the Care-A-Van mobile fitness program. The event is designed to create a welcoming environment where families can connect with local organizations, learn about available services, and participate in activities that support health and well-being.
This initiative is part of Bastrop County Cares’ ongoing commitment to strengthening communities by connecting families with resources that support education, wellness, and positive youth engagement.
