The tradition of Easter celebrations and egg hunts in La Grange can be dated as early as the late 19th century, with many historic accounts documenting the festive activities.
Join us on the Bluff on Saturday, April 19th to continue this tradition and make new memories in our annual Egg hunt and Osterfeuer (Easter fire). Bring a picnic and enjoy the views on the lawn and prepare for the classic egg hunt on the grounds. Learn more about early Easter traditions from our living historians near the Kreische house. Stay until sunset to sit by the bonfire (weather permitting).
