Bastrop County Cares invites families to participate in the Care-A-Van Wellness and Educational Experience, a free community event designed to promote family engagement, healthy activity, and access to local resources. This family-friendly event takes place at Stony Point Park in Del Valle, Texas on the second Tuesday and fourth Thursday of each month.
The Care-A-Van event offers a variety of engaging outdoor activities for children and families, along with literacy activities, community resources, healthy snacks, and opportunities for physical activity through the Care-A-Van mobile fitness program. The event is designed to provide a welcoming environment where families can connect with local organizations, learn about available services, and participate in activities that support health, wellness, and positive youth development.
The Care-A-Van initiative is part of Bastrop County Cares’ ongoing commitment to strengthening communities by connecting families with resources that support education, wellness, and active lifestyles.
