Red Door Day for Mental Health is February 12, 2025

Take action for mental health awareness in Rural Central Texas.

Normalizing Mental Health Across Rural Communities

Red Door Day is a movement dedicated to normalizing conversations about mental health across rural communities.

Each year, your participation shines a light on mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and the urgent need for equitable access to mental health resources. By coming together, we can break the stigma, support those in need, and foster healthier, more resilient communities.

How to participate

Be a “Red Door” for Your Neighbors

Be Part of Red Door Day by taking simple, impactful actions to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention in your community.

  1. Decorate

Decorate your door or driveway to identify yourself as a supporter of those struggling with mental health in your local community.

  2. Share #RedDoor25

Share your creation on social media with a message of encouragement and tag Greater Fayette Community Foundation and the Red Door Fund.

  3. Care

Care for your neighbors. Be a Red Door by checking in on your neighbors, sharing resources, and holding a safe space for others to express themselves.
