Kate is an accomplished non-profit leader and Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with extensive experience in program development, volunteer engagement, and fundraising. In her current role as Senior Associate Director of Priorities and Initiatives at Harvard University, she serves as a strategic fundraising planner, collaborating across schools and stakeholders to advance university-wide priorities and maximize philanthropic success. Previously, Kate held advancement roles at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, University of Houston, Albany Law School, and two regional nonprofit performing arts organizations. As a freelance consultant, she partners with nonprofit clients to deliver tailored development services, offering expertise in problem-solving, system creation, and fundraising analysis to help advancement teams achieve greater impact. Kate holds bachelor’s degrees in Vocal Performance and Arts Management from the State University of New York at Potsdam, and a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Houston-Downtown. She lives with her spouse in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts, where they enjoy renovating their 1880s Victorian home and spending time with their cats.
