Red Door Day 2026

Thank You to Everyone Who Supported Red Door 2026

The Greater Fayette Community Foundation (GFCF) would like to thank our community and sponsors for showing your support during Red Door Day and all month long in February.

The Red Door Fund for Mental Health supports programs that expand access to mental health services, including innovative therapies, peer support groups, and community-based resources. We also fund initiatives that raise awareness and provide education about mental health, empowering individuals and families to seek help and build resilience.

Red Door Day was February 12th, and it was a success because our community came together, wore red, decorated their door, and spread awareness throughout Fayette County. Each photo shared, each conversation sparked, and each visible red door served as a reminder that no one has to carry mental health challenges alone. GFCF is grateful for every individual, family, organization, and local partner who helped make February a month of connection, care, and community-led support.

GFCF would also like to thank And Then A New Day for creating Red Door door signs and for managing the yard sign sales. Their time, creativity, and follow-through helped make it easier for Fayette County residents to participate and helped extend the message of awareness beyond Red Door Day itself.

We would like to send a special thank you to La Grange Rotary Club and Fayette County EMS Foundation for their Red Door Fund donation. Their generosity strengthens this work and reflects what is possible when local leaders invest in the wellbeing of their neighbors.

“To know that so many organizations are out there doing great work to address vital gaps in services within their communities gives me a lot of hope that we are destined for a better future.”
